It helps I've used it for reference when I tore the whole back axel and middle drive shaft out.
Waste of money of getting this book it does not show part by part by step by step it just shows somebody taking a part of a bike and taking pictures of it as they did it very little information

Basically, it looks like they just took apart an ATV and took bad pictures. Lacks technical information, tuning information or anything really useful other than maybe a component locator or just a basic guide to how it is assembled at a very basic level.
Following this repair book is a lot better than trying to make repairs without any guide. This is the only book I have tried on this model ATV so I do not know if there are better ones available. The step by step instructions and photos were very helpful though I would have liked to see some exploded views. It was also helpful that it is written for someone doing repairs at home and not a "factory shop manual" that assumes that you have a lot of special tools and training. I followed this book to rebuild the front suspension of my 2003 Grizzly 660 and found it to be accurate and have enough information for my model to get the job done.
Haynes has gone down hill! Photo illustrations don't show enough detail, The text say one thing, the photo's show another thing. They generalize too much, They use the word "Typical" So often, It's just frustrating to get anything out of it. I'll use mine to wrap fish for freezing or starting the fire in the fireplace
