Great pictures. The squares for each day are large enough to write birthdays and other events inside. I have had another brand of Ireland calendar with no captions for the photos, which was very disappointing. National Geographic has been a quality choice for Ireland calendars for many years. We honeymooned in Ireland in 1987 and have purchased one of these most of the years since then.
I bought this to complete a set which my daughter purchased for her children. I haven't read this particular issue, but it was delivered promptly and was well packaged. I'm always glad to use Smile Amazon, since Amazon makes a 1% donation of each purchase to my designated charity, East Atlanta Kids Club.
I get a tropical wall calendar every year. After checking them all, I usually end up with the Nat Geo version. Others have repetitive photographs year after year, not NG. Good size for office wall.
I have been interested in military insignia and uniforms since as far back as 1957. Around 1958, a friend tore out some pages from an old National Geographic that illustrated WWI insignia and gave them to me. The edges, as to be expected, were ragged, and he had folded them. Some 50 years later, they were pretty tattered, and the pages didn't even indicate the month or year of the magazine. Recently, I was able to nail down the exact issue (October 1917) and bought a copy. Considering its age, it is in exceptionally good condition.I got an unexpected surprise, as the magazine also contains literally hundreds of full-color flag illustrations and information about each flag. The flags range from US state and historical flags to flags of other nations and principalities. It is a real treasure trove.
This calendar is exactly what I wanted at an excellent price! I love dolphins and bought this to replace the WWF dolphin calendar I received as a Christmas gift last year (no such luck this year). This arrived in perfect condition and now I get that daily dose of dolphin happiness I was starting to miss.
As usual, National Geographic calendar quality. Some photos are really good, a few others just good (but I like Spain). I've had better NG Spain calendars in the past.
Great pictures that I enjoy seeing every day. I compared some other giraffe calendars, but I didn't like many of the pictures on those. This calendar is a large size so the pictures are large and if you like to write in the date boxes, those have plenty of space for adding stuff. I also like that each monthly photo includes a description of what type of giraffe it is and where the photo was taken.
Beautiful, quality pictures. I bought this as a gift for my sister. She LOVED it! :)
